Marlies Sign Goaltender Keith Petruzzelli

The Toronto Marlies announced this afternoon that they’ve signed 22 year-old goaltender Keith Petruzzelli to a two-year AHL contract.

Last season with Quinnipiac University of the NCAA, Petruzzelli played 29 games and had a .926 save percentage. He also had a record of 17-8-4, a GAA of 1.89, and 4 shutouts. Petruzzelli was a finalist for the 2021 Hobey Baker Award, which is awarded annually to the top player in the NCAA.

Petruzzelli joins Ian Scott, Michael Hutchinson, Joseph Woll, and Erik Kallgren in the Marlies’ crease for the 2021-22 season.
